Xiaomi's electric vehicle journey is entering a new stage.
After establishing the SU7 and YU7 as two of the most talked-about electric vehicles in China, Xiaomi is now preparing for a much larger challenge: taking its EV business to international markets. In September 2026, Xiaomi EV surpassed 800,000 cumulative deliveries, marking a major milestone for a car brand that only began delivering its first model a little over two years ago.
At the same time, Xiaomi has confirmed plans to enter Europe in 2027, with Germany among its first major markets. The company has already begun building its European retail network, working with eight German dealer groups. This marks an important shift — Xiaomi EVs are no longer only a Chinese-market story, but an increasingly global automotive brand.
The Xiaomi SU7 was the model that introduced Xiaomi to the automotive world. Combining a sleek sports-sedan design, high-performance electric powertrain technology, intelligent connectivity, and a strong digital ecosystem, the SU7 quickly attracted attention far beyond traditional EV buyers.
The YU7 expanded Xiaomi's presence into the highly competitive SUV segment. With its coupe-inspired proportions, spacious interior, advanced technology, and strong performance, the YU7 has become another important part of Xiaomi's EV strategy.
As Xiaomi continues expanding its vehicle lineup, the brand is increasingly competing not only with established Chinese EV manufacturers but also with global names such as Tesla, Porsche, and other premium electric vehicle brands.
For international Xiaomi EV owners, global expansion means more than simply being able to purchase a vehicle locally.
As more SU7 and YU7 vehicles appear on roads outside China, demand for accessories, protection products, storage solutions, and interior upgrades is likely to grow with the owner community.
Every market has different driving conditions and different owner preferences. Some drivers want better interior protection for everyday use. Others need additional storage, sun protection, screen protection, trunk organization, or practical accessories for long-distance travel.
This is where the aftermarket ecosystem becomes an important part of the ownership experience.
Modern EV owners increasingly personalize their vehicles according to how they actually use them.
A well-designed center console organizer can make everyday storage more convenient. A custom-fit floor mat can help protect the original interior from dirt and wear. Screen protection can reduce fingerprints and scratches, while trunk and storage accessories can make a vehicle more practical for family trips and daily commuting.
For SU7 and YU7 owners, the goal is not simply to add more products to the car. The best accessories should complement the original vehicle design, fit precisely, remain easy to use, and maintain the clean appearance of the interior.
As Xiaomi EV ownership expands globally, we expect this demand for carefully designed accessories to grow alongside the vehicles themselves.
The next stage of Xiaomi's automotive journey could be particularly interesting.
The company has already demonstrated that it can attract enormous attention in China's highly competitive EV market. Reaching more than 800,000 cumulative deliveries is a significant milestone, while the planned European expansion introduces Xiaomi EV to a completely different competitive environment.
Europe will bring new customers, new regulations, different driving conditions, and new expectations for after-sales support and vehicle ownership.
For Xiaomi owners, however, one thing will remain universal: the desire to make their cars more comfortable, practical, protected, and personal.
At FANSXIAOMI, we will continue following the development of Xiaomi EVs and expanding our selection of accessories for models including the SU7 and YU7.
As Xiaomi enters its next chapter, the world will be watching — and so will we.
